Dumb Question?

    Okay I'm sure you have heard it all on this forum... but here goes anyway...

    I only have adsense TEXT ads on my site... so, can I have image ads from another advertiser on the same page or not :confused:

    Here's the relevant line from the AdSense terms and conditions:

    You further agree not to display on any Serviced Page any non-Google content-targeted advertisement(s).

    So it's not whether or not the other ads are text- or image-based, it's whether or not they're contextually-targeted.

    ie if they are related to your content - as adsense it but COOP isnt.

    That's was what I was thinking of joining the COOP thingy...

    Anyone here joined them? If so, what are the returns? Can anyone offer more insight into this program - would be great to know more... or lead me to the forum page that offers more details... thanks

    coop forum is here: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=34 as I said, it can be used with adsense coz coop ads are not targetted. I think you will find a lot of people on these boards are members of the coop. More is explained at the actual signup point in my sig.

    I joined the Co-Op and Shawn sent me a check for $752,512.00

    All kidding aside, I have found it useful even though all of my sites are relatively new, so my weight is still on the low-end of things. Just remember its intent is to be an actual advertising co-op and not necessarily a link-exchange nor a Super SEO tool.
