Dumb question about keyword research

I am creating video tutorial website. And I researched keywords. And do I choose low competition keywords or high keywords from adword keyword tools?

 

Low competition will help you rank faster compared to the high competition keywords.. However, It comes down to how much effort you're going to put in for your SEO campaign!!

 

Let's say I put less effort on SEO, but I choose low competition keywords. What is the result of it?

 

If the competition is low a little effort will help you rank compared to the ones with high competition friend..

Low competition keyword let you ranked earlier than that of high competition.It is better to select low competitive one .

 

Its a very good thing if you found a bunch of keyword those are related to your niche and low in competition with good searches. Low in competition keyword will rank fast in search engines but not always because if your keyword consist high searches then it will take time to rank but yes not that much if your keyword is high in competition.
