Dual monitor LCD question

We've always used CRT, but before I upgrade to LCD, I was wondering if anyone knows the easiest way to setup a dual monitor system for LCD.

I have a Gateway GT5676, with both types of monitor connections, and I currently use a dual monitor adapter to run two CRTs. Wondering what I'd need to run two LCDs? Haven't seen an adapter for this...

I don't really see your problem? Do you have 2 VGA outputs on your machine, connected to 2 CRT monitors? In that case you'd simply have to plug in the 2 LCD's in the same VGA ports and nothing will change.

If you have some kind of exotic adapter, I wouldn't know myself.

I thought LCD monitors had to be plugged into HDMI?

it based on what lcd monitor you bought, lot of lcd monitors have both VGA and DVI input, some have 3 three input VGA, DVI and HDMI and the rest have DVI and HDMI input. Beside of that if you buy monitor without VGA input, you can still use DVI to VGA adapter

And there are adapters for it too, so that it still plugs in to your old video card without you having to worry about it. Most of the time, the LCD monitor should come packaged with this.. .

LCDs are usually plugged into a VGA or DVI, both of which depends on your graphics card.

There are adapters but most lcd moniters do have the vga option so your current config would work fine
