Howdy, this is my first post and I figured I'd start out by asking a 'deep and meaningful' question rather than just spamming you with inanities as my instinct tells me to. I have just started a new forum, about a week ago, and I've had some success with SEO, especially in terms of getting hooked up with Google. I am running vBulletin and vBSEO with the Google/Yahoo Sitemap. I've set up vBSEO in the best possible format (Site name/thread title) in order to enhance my SE rank. The forum is for the upcoming game from Valve and Turtle Rock Studios, Left 4 Dead. The domain is l4dforums.com (http://l4dforums.com). I figured it was short enough to be memorable and yet contained a good keyword in 'L4D' as the main site for the game is l4d.com. In addition to this main domain I also picked up left4deadforums.com and the dotnets for both the above. The dotnets were cheap and designed to prevent others setting up similar with the 'next best' suffix. If I ever get in the mood I'll probably pick up .org and maybe .co.uk to ensure I best out any threats. So now I have four domains: l4dforums.com l4dforums.net left4deadforums.com left4deadforums.net All four redirect to the first domain. The last time I checked we're the fourth hit for searches on 'L4D' in Google, behind the main site and two YouTube videos. I think that's pretty special fotr a site that is a week old. Anyway, that was a long winded way of telling you where I am at, now to my question. I want to try and get a good result on searches for 'Left 4 Dead' in Google and I want to use the left4deadforums.com domain to do this. I need some suggestions on how to do it. Someone on another site recommended I use a 'key word rich' page that redirects to the main forum. Can anyone suggest the best way to do this? Thanks, and thanks for reading, if you made it this far. Alan
