Not compareable. Drupal is a large framework. WP is a small CMS. Depends on the project.

Drupal is Geek Friendly, Wordpress is Blogger Friendly.

Try building a custom form in wordpress.... ughh no standard form API, but try managing drupal site... how many pages should we visit?

I had worked on both drupal and wordpress. But drupal is user friendly and it has huge community which was lack in wordpress. so i prefer drupal. To know further about the drupal visit rstwebsolutions.com/web_development/drupal.html. From this you can get better idea about drupal and why drupal is better than wordpress. This is a good content to know about the drupal.

If you prefer an easy to setup and run/manage a website then Wordpress fits in well.

Yes, I use Drupal in one of my websites, but it is good to know that Drupal 8 will be a mayor turn around in the way the CMS is developed as it will be based on the Symfony 2 framework which has nothing to do with the usual architecture.
It will require more qualified developers, so the Drupal community will have to evolve too

I prefer Drupal since I think its actually easier to work with after you pass the learning curve and mostly everything for Drupal is free. Wordpress in my opinion requires much more modification but it seems to be more popular than drupal in terms of support, themes etc.

If you just start running your site wp would be the most optimal solution. It is user friendly, but has a lot of functions at the same time. It works good with seo, thus making the right steps you may get high ranking. Also, you don't have to possess any programming knowledge, the dashboard is plain, you may easily understand it. Notice, wp is more suitable for blogs, but it is good with of full value sites as well.
In contrast to wp, drupal is used for community networks and has more advanced features. If you are not tech savvy, drupal may be rather hard nut to master. It requires rather deep programming knowledge and patience).
Before choosing the proper cms platform think about your web project, its topic, purposes and peculiarities. To make it sufficiently, you may read this review on Drupal and Wordpress.

In all reality, it all boils down to "the right tool for the right job." I like both platforms, but I wouldn't use Drupal to build a simple blogging platform - that may be an "overkill." Likewise, for a huge cooperation, I would not use WordPress as it can get a bit clumsy managing thousands of pages and articles.

I would NEVER recommend Drupal for a beginner though just because of how difficult it is to manage and the learning curves involved with building custom themes, taxonomies, blocks, etc.

The WordPress is very popular among the bloggers, honestly I use this platform too. Is easy to manage and in internet I can find a lot of information about wordpress plugins, templates. But if you don't kno which cms will be better to you, visit bktemplates.com and check possibilities each of them.
