Drupal vs ELGG vs Wordpress mu??

Elgg has the advantage since it has all, all you need to do is enhance the features, but the only problem is the support group of elgg. Drupal can also be use but need of expertise when using some module.

I think even if it is Drupal they must have spent a lot of money to customize that script to get this results.

 

teamsugar.com had heavy custom coding.

Based on the most successful sites on the net from these three scripts, you'd have to go with wordpress.

 

By heavy custom coding I mean paying several full time developers.

 

I guess between all three wordpress is probably the easiest to work with.

 

What plugins would one use with wordpress to make a community site? I'm looking at the repository now and some ideas in what directions to look would be great.
