    It's a decent CMS and probably good for a light traffic site, but there are other CMSes that offer more features

    Hello,
    I just felt the need to post an update here. Drupal is one of the biggest open source content management systems that is out there.. Have a look at buytaert.net/tag/drupal-sites the website of Dries Buytaert[/URL] ,the founder of Drupal. There some really big companies and entities are using Drupal these days. i.e. McDonald's , Digg, Sony, South African Government, US Department of Commerce , VIA Rail, Le Figaro, The mayor of London , Christina Aguilera, the list goes on and on .. This by itself is a living proof that Drupal is really powerful and able to host websites that may generate a lot of traffic.

    It proves it is powerfull, flexible and can handle a lot of traffic ;) Joomla would fail on these points, Wordpress is okay and can handle some traffic but can't offer the functionalities of Drupal.

    Haha it's funny to see the few bad opinions about drupal in 2005. And now Drupal is clearly the number one CMS :)

    Our site is running on Drupal. IMO it's an excellent CMS. I've tried many CMS's over the years including various flavors of Nuke, Joomla, and Wordpress, and I'd say I like Drupal the best so far.

    Drupal is the best CMS if you think about the functionality and flexibility. It is a kind of developers dream. In 2005 it was not matured as it is now.
