Drupal site help, user picture not displaying

Hi, im new in drupal. I Create social bookmarking site using drupal. I have problem with user pictures (avatar).The user picture not appear. SO for temporary solution im using gravatar modules.

here is the example of user pictures url:
webdev5.com/sites/default/files/pictures/picture-1.jpg
when im open this url on browser, display error message (page not found).

Im installing this site on shared hosting under
public_html/webdev5.com/

Any help very appreciated

What theme are you using? have you tried switching to a core-theme (ie Blue Marine) to see if that makes a difference?

 

oh.. i'am don't try to switch other theme,i'am using summertime theme. but, are you sure that make a different change??

permission to write files or image file path.
