Hey any Drupal pros here? I need help with a few things. How can i make my Drupal page have a download section? How could i also make categories that actually divide up my posts into seperate groups? Any help would be appreciated . Postaldude
well i was looking for a download system for drupal because there doesnt seem to be one in the default version. I was also planning to do posts about (a) and (b) and i wanted to have a link on that top that connected to topics about (a) and another link to topics that connect to (b) Any idea how i can do this?
Drupal is an extremely modular system, meaning that the core of it is really just a housing for modules (aka. plugins, extensions) and its what makes the system so scalable. You gotta install some modules if you wanna harness its true power. Check out http://drupal.org/project/Modules. In fact theres a whole section for file management http://drupal.org/project/Modules/category/62. Look through that, but depending on what you wanna do you may just be able to use the Upload module that comes in core. Like I said you need to be way more specific.
