I'm running Drupal 6.4 and as everyone knows, the forums are not setup to well for what most want it to do. It's forums module runs much in the same direction as the node or blog module. I ran accross a module that allows VB and PHPBB to be incorporated into 1.) Drupal. vBDrupal only supports Drupal 5x. 2.) The phpbb module only supports Drupal 5x. However, current work is being done with 6x and some have been successful but it's in a very beta stage. Do you think I would be able to convert my current forums to look and act more like a normal forums script? Or should I play around with the phpbb module? I would rather convert to phpbb but I don't know what will happen to the few articles I have in my current forums. From what I understand a new phpbb installation is need to do this. So I have a hard time understanding how Drupals forums would work along with PHPBB on my site. I know it wouldn't make sense to have them both work together. I was wondering if maybe I should transfer my articles in drupals forums to blog, then disable the drupal forum module and do the PHPBB merge. phpbb merge instructions (beta) stage for Drupal 6x http://drupal.org/project/phpbbforum
