    I've already begun to develop.

According to SEObook the keyword Dr Seuss gets 10,000 searches daily on google ..

Approx value of just the name alone?

I know I'm going to hear someone say something about TM but if that ever comes I'll deal with it at the time. I'm not sure why they'd care as I'm going to move ALOT of Dr Seuss books

Also if you look on the google trends main page.. They use Dr Seuss as a search example.

    Ideas?

    www.DrSeuss.cc

I have alot of hand editing to do yet. There's over 1200 Dr Seuss books and I'm on # 40

Personally, I have no idea who that guy is so had to Google it. I don't think that his name could be TMed as it's a dead person.

The .cc extention isn't a strong ccTLD & "drseuss" isn't very stong of a keyword to give it value beyond reg fee undeveloped.

LOL I suppose any "North American" Would know who Dr Seuss is then. 10k keyword searches per day / = 300,000 searches per month .. Very strong keyword for driving specific sales. As I mentioned developing a .cc can give you ranks equiv to a .net / .org and the .com is a redirect to seussville.com so I guess we will see.

In fact a movie just came out "Horton hears a who" based on one of his books. And what about the Grinch who stole xmas ?

I believe Jim Carey is in both those movies.

TM issues effect price because no one wants to pay a premium for a name and then have to give it away for free. I guess you could ride the wave and see if you can make some PPC money and then surrender the name when you get a lawyers letter. I don't think anyone would risk more than a few hundred on this one.

jg123 .. not going to do PPC with it. I've already started developing to sell all 1200 and something books via amazon.

Parking domains is a pretty big waste especially if it's not a .com

.cc developed though into a store might do really well though.

    Over 500 uniques yesterday already.

    Estibot says this
