Usually, you have to dish out money for this kind of information.

If you do find some dropshippers though, I'd love to know of them.

I might have a dropshi**er list that is a couple of years old. Majority of them are still in business that's why I think it doesn't matter if it's old.

PM me your e-mail address and I'll mail you the list. I don't wanna any dosh for that, however, if you appreciate my sacrifice :D you could give me a bit of info and stats after you've tried this business. Don't worry, I'm not going into Nike anyway. Yuck [pukes]

The fact is that I don't quite believe in such kind of business model, that's why I'm waiting for someone else to explore the horizon and get me the info LOL

Real dropshippers who provide wholesale prices require you to have a business license and tax ID. Anyone else is just a middleman who marks up the wholesale cost and charges you the difference, cutting into your profit margin.

Dropship Design, Shopster, Worldwide Brands, etc. are all middlemen. There are real wholesalers out there, but no one's going to tell you who they are, because then you would become a competitor. But they can be found with a little research. Google is your friend. :)

in order to make profit, you should find a merchant that would sell you something popular below the wholesale price. The only place that I know where you can find them is alibaba, but you'll have to invest some $$. I don't see any potential in dropshipping, sorry.

I've been researching dropshipping heavily for the past 3 weeks. The only true option I've seen is World Wide Brands, although it's like $300 to sign up for it, and you can't see their forum unless you're a paying member...so I dont know if it's worth it or not. Unless you go with a service like that, getting into dropshipping seems like it's going to be a very frustrating venture....

I have an account with worldwide brands and have my sales tax ID, etc. I'm looking for a business partner who can bring something to table, even if it is just time and effort to start up an ecommerce store with. I'm not trying to hijack this thread, I tried helping Luke but the products he's looking for aren't listed in the database I have access to.

PHPgator, what do you think of it? Is it worth bothering to sign up for?

Well, it does as its intended. It has a huge database with a large assortment of products. It does some basic analysis calculations for you. But, you can't rely 100% on the analysis that it does. You need to look at the numbers and crunch them yourself, etc.

As far as finding real wholesalers... its greats for that. The community is very good too as far as being helpful. I would say that most people who have been at DP for a while has them beat though. Most people who jump into an account with WWB don't have the least bit idea of how to market their website.

If someone wants a gps and navigation systems dropshipper pm me. I have nothing to do with that business, I'm not advertising anything, I was just selling it myself. You have to be in US and have a business license, tax id and sales tax id. the profit now is $5-10 per item(That's why I stopped doing it)

I forgot to mention, too many people selling these products on eBay

phpgator: Thanks for the input...I might just try them out! Been pondering it for a couple weeks now. I just like that their wholesellers are certified through a process they put them through.

...and if you don't know what you're doing you just receive a box of rubbish (instead of the stock you ordered). By the time you receive it, you have already paid 50% of the invoice - that's all they need. What I am saying is that there is a lot of fraud out there.

And you are right, its very difficult to make any money from dropshipping.

You're right. If you don't have something unique to offer to eBayers, better don't go there.

Some say that I'm quite good at creating e-stores. You got PM.

Why are you looking for a dropshipper?

If you sell, say, batteries to a customer, that company will send it to him either directly or through another company.

What difference does it make, as long as you get your money?
