Hello One of my sites watchscrubsfree.com was on page 1 and 2 on Google for keyphrases such as 'watch scrubs online' and 'watch scrubs free'. But i checked today and it seems the site is no where to be found. I know the site is still indexed in Google because a watchscrubsfree.com search reveals this. But most of my traffic came from Google, so now i'm not ranking for that keyphrase anymore is very worrying. Can anyone help me out? Thanks Nathan
The website doesn't have any type of SEO. Also, when a site is new it will get ranked higher as time goes on you need natural back links to keep the placement. Also, if you have zangocash on the site (see sites like this with it upon them) google will do the adware advisement before going to your site. I see a total of 12 pages indexed and not many backlinks from weighted sites.
Thanks for the reply. Hmm..are you sure none at all. I am a beginner to this type of thing but surely my keyword efforts would help a little bit. What would you recommend? And yes i do need a lot more backlinks, but no i don't use zango. I seem to be one of the few that don't. Regards Nathan
If you don't use zango. How do you make cash on it? You can't use Adsense, because it's a violation of the adsense TOS.
It do happens, even I was in the first page of some of the keywords iam using but all of a sudden a few days ago my site was drop from page 1 to nowhere to be found on google site.
Start with the titles All your pages have same title that´s not good for google because google thinks it´s spam... So change title to unique
cant help it, it just happens if you dont have any inbound links for that keyword,if you do your site will probably be sealed for that keyword,,get some backlinks..
Do some onsite optimization (unique and keyword rich title tag, meta description and keywords etc.) and build more links. You should gradually get back on top. Your domain name has the keyword in it so you have an advantage.
You should keep on adding more content to your site and try to get some links from your domain. You must have some people on the internet who support your domain. So links from any domain will work as a vote for your site.
To be very frank, you have to do a lot of work as far as seo is concerned. Like your site has same title for your all the pages, there is no meta (description, keyword) tag, no canonical url optimization, no back links i.e you have to do a lot of work on seo part.
a friend site yesterday was on 8 position, no is nowhere. Monday was 11,Tuesday nowhere; from 2 weeks is fluctuating ; I think google is updating data centers or something
Something is obviously wrong. One of my sites (5 years old with 20271 external links only for main page) disappeared from top 10 on Saturday for many search terms. Traffic dropped for 40%. Tuesday was back again on old positions and 12hours later on Wednesday disappeared again. I'm waiting with patience that G solve this frustrating oscillation by data centers and give back old positions.
Thanks everyone for the advice! So far I've added the site too lots of SEO friendly directories to build up backlinks, but it'll probably be sometime before i get accepted into them all. I'll also be doing some work on the titles. Nope *shrug*
Uhm, google has started to devalue back links on paid directory's and in the process they reduced the weight on non paid ones too. Those are not the back links you want to get. I would go for wordpress non spammy blog posts about the website with different anchor text for the title. Or Article directorys, submit articles over the website.
Been up since March 4th. Was dropped from google around March 11th. Thanks for the advice. How would i get blog posts about it, and whats the deal with different anchor text? Is that so Google doesn't think its spam or something? Thanks a lot Nathan
