Not sure... I don't see that with Firefox (or any other browser) myself. Is anyone else seeing it?

I suspect you two have increased normal font size. If I hold down the control key and roll scroll wheel to increase font size I can get menu to overlap. Answer: If you do not want it overlapping decrease font.

I checked font size has not been increased, moreover I just did CTRL+0 which make sure fonts are at their normal and result is still same.

However, I think I've figured out and this is how issue can be reproduced. It's when the screen resolution goes (1280px X 768px) or below (1280px X 768px) the dropdown shifts towards the top/ beginning of the layout/ browser area.

Testing ground were 2 of my laptop with Win XP and Win 7 with same version of Mozilla FF 3.6.17 and a desktop with same FF browser but resolution is set to much higher than (1280px X 768px).

Please let me know if that helps.

Happens for me too - http://i.imgur.com/o7Du3.jpg

I am using Firefox 3.xx version and Windows 7 operating system. Also, I have not increased my fonts size of browser.

As I said in the earlier post that it might be screen resolution. so can you please confirm your screen resolution while having this issue?

Well, regardless of your screen resolution, if your browser window isn't big enough to fit the drop-down menu, it will automatically shift itself so more of it's in view. Maybe that's all it is?

If this is what is expected then wouldn't have been reported much earlier? I have been on DP from last 18 months had spent good amount of time and used same laptop. The screen res/ browser window size is same as earlier. I haven't had that issue earlier.

Well it's definitely always worked that way if the browser window sin't big enough to fit it.

Well, yes. Shawn, is correct when I try the same doing full screen then I don't face that issue. So, it seems to be a problem of browser window only.

Might just be more noticeable recently because the ad was layered on top of it, but that's been changed now.
