Dropdown items indexed by Google?

This may sound like a stupid question but I really don't know the answer of it.

My website had items listed as:
    - item a
    - item b
    - item c

    etc...

and when someone typed item a in google the page where item a links to on my website would be usually in the first page.

Just a few minutes ago I editted it and added all the items in one dropdown menu, because I had some more things to add to the layout and I only have 1 side bar.

Now my question is will this effect my google search results? Or do the dropdown items get indexed the same way as it was before?

    Thanks!

It depends on how your drop down menu is coded. If it's coded with a nice clean HTML-list and CSS to turn it (visually) into a drop down menu, it will be fine. Google will index your whole menu the next time the page gets crawled. If it's coded in javascript you could still be fine, but you could also have a menu that can't be crawled. Depends on the precise way it's coded. Chech the code for
    <a href="etc.com">
    Code (markup):

You can see it here: (Players)
    http://www.irangoals.com/

It seems like the URL's are not visible within the source code.

I believe that these URL's will not be indexed, since the URLs aren't visible in the source code. I would use a CSS menu system if I were you.

By the way, in firefox your google ads to the left are being part covered by the main content - that definitely needs resolving because it contravenes the adsense TOS.

I guess you're referring to the way people get to specific football (soccer) players? Those links aren't going to be followed, because they aren't links in the source code. You can solve that easily by putting links to each player at the bottom of the page. Don't hide the links, just put them at the bottom.

I agree that your site needs work to display well in firefox. I only saw part of the adsense ads on the left. That way firefox users aren't likely to click on the ads. I don't think it's likely you'll be banned from adsense for this, but it's definitely not good for your bottom line.
