I'm thinking about doing this. Does anyone know any places i can go to start and get info in this? I want to sell products like mobile phones.

Can you actually make a lot of money doing this?

Please let me know, any information on this would be greatly appreciated.

It's like anything in IM, you can generally make it work...

IF you can drive TARGETED traffic to your site,
AND, you have what they want...

You can do well on eBay with it, but remember it's you that's responsible for the sale at the end of the day. If it ddoesn't get delivered it's you who needs to sort it out.

Probably the most respected and reputable dropship source for products and education on dropshipping is World Wide Brands http://worldwidebrands.com/.

Make sure you check out their "Free Stuff" area for educational/informational help about dropshipping.

If you are good at marketing, it can be very profitable. (Skills such as being proficient is Google Adwords and help you bring in a lot of revenue too!)

If you can, check references or reviews of the dropshipper.

Drop shipping has many benefits, but if the dropshipper ships the wrong products or is slow to ship, you're the one that has to answer for it to the customer.

In this case, you could be losing money as you need to do refunds or have items reshipped and picked back up.

    Just be careful.

That's why you want to go with a company like World Wide Brands that screens the companies they recommend, and intercedes on your behalf if there are any problems. I have been using WWW for a few years. I have had only had 1 problem. I contacted WWW about it, and it was resolved within a few hours. Yes, you might pay a little more to join WWW, but you get what you pay for. For me, it has been well worth it.

Its a good earner, but as with all good earners there is a lot of competition. So if you can do better than the rest, go for it!

I've asked around about this also. Its quite the competition with many people already involved with Drop Shipping. I mean... if you find out how many people are doing drop shipping here... and even in other similar forums... that gives you a little bit of an idea of what your competition is like...

I also understand that you need to make yourself available for customers right away before they walk away...

Maybe someone can give you more feedback on my thoughts here...

I have been dropshipping products for years, but I started a company first and got a real wholesaler to dropship the products for me. They are in the business of wholesale and dropship and you cannot deal with them without a resale license, so you know that they don't mess around. Most of these other ones do not work right. I have tried quite a few before starting my own business.

    Hey,

I like it so far, I'd recommend it. I'm using doba dropshipping, and I think once I get the hang of it, I'll be able to make some pretty good money. Just one tip: treat it as respectfully as any other job.

    Good luck!

I'm new to this forum. I recently came across a company that will build the site for you and provide you with the list of wholesalers with no middleman. It is a one time fee for the internet storefront. If you anybody can give me feedback on this? And if you know of any good ones with a storefront contact me.
