Drop ship site selling womens lingerie

I am selling www.low-pricedlingerie.com. The site is a new site which is only a few weeks old. It uses xcart as the shopping cart and you will need to buy a license which is $99 unless you use the BIN and it is included.

Be aware that I designed two of these sites that look very similar. I built the first one for a client and a lady came along and ask me to build her one that look like it so I did. Then she did not pay. They are not exact replicas but they are close, same colors and layout.

The drop ship provider will be supplied to only the buyer.

Have you worked with this drop shipper before? How many items does the drop shipper offer? Is he reliable?

How many items do you have on the site? Is there an admin section to add new items easily?

The problem with lingerie sites is that there are more website about that online than churches in the south...

 

The margins vary a lot. The stockens are about 700% markup but you only make about $6 per sale. The leather markup is only 40% but you make $30 per sale so it really depends on the items.

I have used the supplier for several years and they do a very good job. They are a large company.

The site has about 400 products right now but there are some new items for Christmas that the supplier has come out with that have not been added.

The site uses xcart and it does have a very good admin area. Much better than oscommerce.

The license for the site is a lifetime license that can be moved from one domain name to another.

This site is only a few weeks old so I have no real solid sales or traffic data.

Codythebest you are right there are a lot of these sites but if you look at the search history there are several million searches per month for lingerie which is the reason for so many sites.

ScottFish I am really not sure why the traffic spiked.

 

is it an international business. I am not in us. I am in HK, asia. Can I host this business. will the supplier support me where I am not in US?

 

They will sell to you if you are not in the US as long as you have a credit card but they will not ship outside the US. It can be hosted anywhere. If you leave it where it is the hosting is $10 per month.

 

I want to host myself. is it easy to transfer ?

 

Yes, I will move it for free but it is easy to move.

We have used this drop shipper for about three years now and they are a good shipper.
