Drop in the no of pages Indexed in Google

    When I use the site command to check the number of pages indexed in google, i see that the number of pages indexed are going down by like 10 pages every day for the last 4 days. Any idea of whats going on??

    Has anyone else seen this, should I be worried?

    Check the GWT account of your website for any error or penalty. Some times some crawling errors cause such deindexing problems.

    i did check for crawl errors in google Webmaster tools.. didnt find any issues there.

    Let me know how are checking back links. If its GTB , i feel there is some thing issue. if you check in webmaster you can find links to your site. Even for us also its same , sudden drop of links from 18 to 8 ,, which i feel is huge :(
