    HI DPs,
I am handling a adwords account since 1 month and I was getting 7-8 qs for every keywords, but suddenly QS drop to 2-4. What should I do.

Delete your campaign and start all over again. Probaby you've been slapped by Google.

    Aaaaargh!!! No!

Starting over again with the same campaign does you no good. First, I'd check the relevancy of your keywords. Whenever I see a QS in the 2 to 4 range, that's what I suspect. Use only relevant keywords. Then, all you have to do is create compelling ads that people will click on. That's what QS is all about, your CTR, once you're relevant that is and follow all the guidelines.

I've had 3-5 QS keywords for months... can't raise them. They are relevant and produce high CTRs and Conversion Rates...go figure

What ARE you doing to raise them? QS does not go up by itself without doing anything.

Well, from a structural point of view, I:
    Created very tight ad groups
Divided my entire campaign into two geo-targeted campaigns
Each ad group now has around 10-15 keywords

Adwords says that the "Keyword relevance is poor" but the landing pages have keyword density for these keywords at around 4-5%. The content is unique so the landing page isn't even the issue.

The ad text features the keywords that have a poor QS.
couples counseling has a QS of 3, the ad headline IS Couples Counseling, the CTR is 1.5% w/ a conversion.

I'm not sure what else to do from that point.

    > Adwords says that the "Keyword relevance is poor"

If a keyword has poor relevance, you are not using the right keyword for what your page is saying. It's costing you 2-3 QS points.

You basically answered what I thought: you have not mentioned trying different ads. Obviously, the ad (sounds like you have only one) you're using now are ineffective, as far as increasing CTR and therefore QS. Read my Adwords FAQ for more on how QS is calculated. You need to have better ads and remove the irrelevant keywords.

I am using the right keywords. For example, one of my keywords, premarital counseling, has a QS of 2 and the ad headline is Premarital Counseling.

I don't know how I can be more relevant, especially since I'm selling premarital counseling.

I posted more details on my keywords that rank poorly and perform well here:

    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2189479

I don't see how this is a relevancy issue. I'm actually exercising A/B tests on each ad group with slight Line 1 variations. So I am optimizing for the actual ads.

Well, Adwords is telling you it is a relevancy issue. It sees your keywords not matching what your page is all about. Simple as that. It's not about putting the keyword in your ad headline.

Now, remember we're dealing with a computer here. I've seen a couple of times it not thinking a keyword was relevant. But 99.5% of the time, it gets it right. So chances are, premarital counseling is not what your page is about. Or you don't have enough there to help it along.

Yes, this is a keyword relevancy issue. I've read from Google's support forums that poor keyword relevance is the result of a poor CTR for that particular keyword. If Adwords reported a Landing Page quality of poor then I can see your point, but keyword relevance seems to have nothing to do with the landing page. Here are some forum posts on the Google support forums:

    http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/AdWords/thread?tid=60364e45bff43354&hl=en
    http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/AdWords/thread?tid=7b4012c24d006f75&hl=en
    http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/AdWords/thread?tid=4d6080fd4c00bf36&hl=en

So it's not about the landing page.
