Has anyone experienced a significant drop in impressions from the content network of late? I usually receive 350,000-400,000 impression each day, but ever since friday the 17th of last week it has decreased to about 30,000-50,000 each day. Anyone know of any Google glitch or do you think it's the seasonal change?

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.

There can be hundreds of reasons for a drop. The first is obviously the season. Maybe all those guys who would have seen your ads are not surfing. They are shopping for their significant other to get them a nice present so they can continue to use your product.

Another reason may be that you are being outranked by competitors. Your stats should show a drop in position if that is so.

Still another is you are being excluded by site administrators. Also, a high traffic site may be down or a bunch of lower traffic ones don't exist anymore. Compare your stats at the site level to see if that's the case.

Could be many other reasons. Or a combination of some or all the above.

Oh, I forgot. Google may have decided that your kind of product is not something they want to advertise on the network. They may have put some restrictions too. They are getting more and more sophisticated so they can probably limit this kind of advertising only to certain kinds of sites.
