    Hi All,

I have found that one of my website have recently dropped in ranking for the main keywords. Most of them were displayed in first page now it has been moved to the fourth or fifth page.

Recently I had submitted the website in Yahoo Directory. Can that be a reason for this drop?

It is most likely from the Google Panda update. I lost nearly 50% of my Google traffic.

Many people are having similar problems. Evaluate your online promotion efforts and diversify so that when search engine algorithms change it will not impact you as much.

One of my sites dropped from the front page to the 3rd page not sure if it is just a small set back or i need to change tactics but anyway i have started a fresh campaign,so we will see if it improves.

it could be related to the recent Google update.. and I don't think that it has something to do with Yahoo Directory submission..

Try to double your SEO effort to bring back your site's position and be cautious with the other sites you're linking to

There are so many things that it could be, maybe the recent Google algo update? Maybe your website is new and you have to sit back and wait a while?

All I would suggest is that you continue as if this never happene, it'll soon return.

Same here but more like 75%. Only for one site though, one with 100% original content and all natural backlinks. Very weird

the reason would be the google panda update. it update frequently and i don't when will it happen again. You just have to push more efort to make you website be on the 1st page. there are now, different ways on how to make your
website on the google rank again.=0

I lost 100% of the Google traffic today :) my site got suddenly disappeared from the results for its keywords (although it still indexed in Google).
I assume this is because of the update and it should be back soon.

not really.. google doesnt showcase any rivalry in that way. It must be because of some violation. You should check out your google webmasters.

No, that's not the reason why your site drop on its keyword rankings. It might be the result of the changes in Google Algorithm that results to sudden drop of your keyword rankings.

No. People who only do that are the guys Google are trying to smite. Google wants good content, not just people who only cheat.

That said, I was largely unaffected in regards to US hits (but not all traffic comes from Google anyways).
