Drop in backlinks big time

Yesterday I checked my backlinks for one of my site was 7,200+, today I check, its down to 5,900. Yahoo is starting to act like google now, dropping me, is this normal?

 

I noticed a drop of about 3000 today as well.

I use Axandra for a rough estimate but not really sure how reliable it is though. How do you check?

 

Mine went up from hundreds to 3800. I don't understand. 60% of the links are from my own site. What's going on?

Down from 12,000
to 3,000 - 4,000

 

ive also notice that. used to have 1400+ now its only 900+. Maybe they have devalued forum signatures..

 

I don't put links in sigs so that doesn't account for my 3000 drop.

 

I use Link Popularity Check 3.0.2 and noticed the drop in number of backlinks to my websites in Yahoo. Thought I messed something up at first, but saw this thread and realized that it wasn't my fault after all.
