Drop down menu elements go behind other elements

    I have a css drop down that goes behind the other elements on the page. Demo picture attached. I tried all possible settings and still.... it pushes it's childs on the background...what do you suggest?

    Neverminf, this was a quick fix. It seems that I forgot to add z-index on absolute elements.
