drop domain and false PR?

can anyone clarify these for me please:

how do you know a domain is:

1) drop domain?
2) have false PR

 

Go to seomoz & check the PR history & verify the backlinks.

 

BTW: If you bought any domain which has false PR or penalized by Google. You can keep good content and tell them that you have purchased it and request them to remove penalty. They will do.

 

To detect fake pagerank, use the google advanced search operator: 'info' to show the domain that is the real source of the pagerank

For example: You want to know if the high pagerank of somedomain.tld is real.

google search: info:somedomain.tld

If the result shows otherdomain.tld as the url, then somedomain.tld does not have its own pagerank.
