    Hi Folks

If my question appears to be stupid then I apologise - I am a complete newbie at this so please bear with me.

Question: Is it permissable to subscribe to traffic generator sites like adsenseape and buyhitscheap to drive traffic to your adsense site?

    Hope you can help

I don't think this is a good idea and would likely get you banned.

I suppose manual surf exchange traffic programs are acceptable but auto surf traffic generators are a violation of Adsense TOS. It's always better to inquire Google for your particular case.

Yes I agree. From my experience, even manual blog traffic exchanges like BlogExplosion are useless to building quality traffic.

    Yes and no! :)

Yes, because Google's TOS doesn't really say anything about not doing it.

BUT, you can't put Google ads on Pop-ups, pop-unders etc. Now, if you buy traffic from any site, you will get your site in a pop-up or pop-under. For starters, you won't get any useful traffic any way as most people either block pop-ups or close them down as soon as they open. Also due to Google's policy, you won't be able to put your site in the pop-up. So, you will have to create an ad-less page for the pop-up that then clicks through to your website. All in all, a tough challenge and not really economically viable in the my opinion.

I would recommend just focussing on building good content on your website and instead of buying traffic that probably won't be targeted, purchase some advertising on a website that has a similar theme to yours. At least the traffic you get then would be from people clicking the ad and coming to your site from a similar site. These guys would be more likely to be interested in your content. Plus, they would be more likely to be repeat visitors too.

    Regards,
