Hello, I have recently started using google ad words to try and drive traffic to some of my sites and have found it very expensive for the results I'm getting. What in your opinion are the best and most effective methods of driving free traffic to your site?
Well, Google ads could be sometimes expensive because you would be paying per every single click but believe it or not, even a lot of No.1 websites are using the solution to gain all the possible traffic shares distributed online. Try working on your SEO methods and wait for some time. By the way, you may try out writing a few quality articles and then submit them to some directories.
There is no such thing as free traffic. Traffic costs you either money or time, which are both money.
I would look into increasing your Search Engine Ranking by getting links to your website from other sites and updating your content frequently. If you do this right you will go up in Search Engine Rankings and get more free, long term traffic from Google and other large search engines.
I think it`s way better to make some SEO and invest in some high quality links so you rank well in SERPs...this way you get more organic traffic, which, in my opinion, is the best
