I use DELL Inspiron 14 N4050 Notebook. But when I going to install the WiFi+Bluetooth driver(R302726) it say- "802.11a/b/g/n Wireless Adapter Device Not Found. The device may not be present or could have been ejected/unplugged from the system. Insert or Reinsert Now." What can I do now. Please help me..
Double check it's switched on by going control panel -> network -> adapter settings -> right click wireless adapter -> disable/enable Failing that, right click it and click 'diagnose'
Had a look in device manager? You could also download Everest Home Edition which will tell you the exact specs and driver details and update accordingly. Another area you could look is in the BIOS. Oh another area you could look is services to see if the WIFI service is enabled. I think from memory it's Start -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services
It could vary depending on your BIOS version but if you load up the BIOS and reset it to default settings that may help, if not try recovery disks? Although it does sound like a hardware issue in which case would require opening the laptop up and either re-soldering it in or replacing it completely. That is not a pretty job if you don't know what you are doing -- but it shouldn't cost too much to get fixed! I completely nuked a laptop once replacing the power jack for the first time with a soldering iron that couldn't solder crap, so be careful if you attempt it yourself.
Choice the different driver from the dell site and install in it. I think its work. Regards, Cardboard Boxes
