Hi everyone, For some time now, I see some annoying drivecleaner.com and errorsafe.com popups every now and then. As far as I know, I've only seen them while browsing my own sites..and a friend of mine saw the drivecleaner.com popup as well when browsing one of my sites. We both protect our pc's with anti-virus, firewall, updates etc. I've also ran some anti-spyware programs and they didn't find anything. I'm trying to figure out if we both have adware/spyware installed, or if the popups are from ad networks that I use on my sites. I've reviewed the ad campaigns and couldn't find anything...and frankly, I don't believe they would ever promote something like that. Does anyone have any idea if this is promoted through an ad network, or if it has to be adware/spyware installed on our pc's? Thanks!
I forgot to mention that I'm not sure if it's actually a popup. It starts with a javascript dialog..which then opens a popup..and when you close it, it becomes embedded into the 468x60 banner space (although you can't click it).
I have he same problem, I used paypopup and I removed them, but the problem wasn't solved... any suggestions? (I'm using only AdBrite)
