i think too much of water at one time caused the problem. drinking that much amount of water over a longer period of time like a few more hours wouldnt be as harmful.
Anything in access creates problem. Its either water or sugar or sleep or any damn thing.. Over dose of anything is always bad..
When I read the title of this thread i actually thought of this story before I had seen it... I guess it's so rare it stuck in my head.
I have heard about the harmful effects of drinking too much water after playing or running But this is the first time I have heard that it may fatal
Rule #1 - you can’t drink too much water. Rule #2 - too much salt will kill you eventually. too much drinking of water is a potentially fatal disturbance in brain functions.
The contests are totally meaningless . I heard from news someone dies bcoz he eats too much in a "eating contest" . We treasure our lives .
i agree these contests are meaningless. eating or drinking in large amounts and risking your lives for some prize? i think we need to introduce those guys on this forum. you can earn much more just sitting at home while eating and drinking at your will.
