I have started to use Dreamweaver.. I have switched from FrontPage... I definitely like Dreamweaver better... The only thing I don’t like and I am having trouble getting past it.. Is when you insert and image and it is larger than the area.. It expands the table..(not really a big deal does the same thing in FrontPage) but when you resize the picture down or remove the image... The table size stays at its expanded size.... where in FrontPage is shrinks it back down... Is this a setting? Is there anything I can do about it or is it just one of those things that I have to deal with?

Thanks for reading my rant :) I know it’s probably stupid but it bugs the crap out of me when it happens...and if you have a couple of table its can be hard to grab the right table to bring it back to the origional size :eek::rolleyes:

If you are looking for the cell to fit the size of the image exactly, you just need to simply set the w & h of the td to the pixel size of the image

I am not looking for the cell to match the picture.. i was just venting about how i dont like how if you upload a picute and its over side it will automatically adjust the cell to fit the picture... but if you remove the picture it doesnt resize the cell back down like it does in frontpage...

    :)

It does actually though, it all depends on the size of the other cells, & it will "autofit" to look proportionate to the rest of the table

It stays that size, but if you click outside of the table it should re-size it for ya
