I'm currently in the process of building a new website for my company which will be a business banking facility. I've practically finished the site and most of it is linked up. I decided to create a right column link section in Adobe Fireworks. I've exported the column and placed it into my home page in Dreamweaver 5.5 and when viewed in IE, Firefox etc. it looks great. The problem is that when I use the hotspot/mapping tool to make the image text clickable the column moves to the bottom of the footer. I remove the hotspots and it once again looks fine. I've exhasted all possibilities of why this would happen so I though I'd pick the brains of you fine people!
Step 1. Uninstall Dreamweaver. Step 2. Learn web development. Step 3. Manually write the code to make the column work. Dreamweaver makes people who can't develop websites think they can. The website is never fooled, only the "developer" is. There's code in there that Dreamweaver created that's, if not pure crap, close to it.
