Maybe its your computer.. what is your processing speed? Maybe you need more RAM? (dreamweaver is a huge program to load on a computer)

I have this 2800+ amd, only 512RAM. But I noticed the more projects I have in Dreamweaver the slower it gets to open them or to change between the projects. Specially the projects that have like 2000-3000 static pages. But I suppose it have to be this way ?

Oh yes! of course the more pages > the larger the file > the slower the program (same applies to other programs as well). That's not a lot of RAM, maybe more RAM might help :D

Yeah, I am sure I have seen them reccommend 1GB for Flash & Dreamweaver. Anyways, more memory is the easiest and cheapest solution.

just throwing this out there, if you are beginning to get into web design, its easier if you know the coding instead of using a program so you then have more control over your content/coding and you can fix any problem that you could have. But thats just my 1 cent.
