Dreamweaver cs3 Upgrade - Issue With Templates

I have just recently upgraded to Dreamweaver cs3 and am using vista home premium. I found that when I view the pages that are part of a template in design view the only thing that shows is my header, which is a picture. The rest of the page is blank. When I open the actual dwt page, it also doesn't display in design view, but I can see the code in code view. It doesn't even recognize that there anything in the template when I close it. I get the message regarding no editable regions. I can see all the code is there in code view and am able to view the page in the browser when I press f12 from either code or design view. I have looked at the Extension file in the configuration folder, and all of the extensions for the pages I am using are there. I am not using anything out of the ordinary. But pages that are not template-based are fine. It is very frustrating. Does anyone have any suggestions for a fix, is anyone experiencing the same issue?

    Thanks
