I am really looking into starting my own site and use dreamweaver as my developmental tool. However, I have little experience with it as I have only seen people use its functions. Anyone recommend any books on the market or any online tutorials? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Hi guys. This is my brother. He isn't extremely familiar with how things work here at DP, but I felt I would post his intentions, so you can also review that. Basically, he wants to create a 24 blog with rumors, news, show reviews, etc. He wants to do it on Dreamweaver, when I insist it should be done through Wordpress. Please give him some advice. He has a good idea that can work, but he just needs a little guidance. Thanks guys.
i use dreamweaver to develop a website....after i design it in illustrator/photoshop. if you want to start up a blog, you need to set up a wordpress blog at www.wordpress.com. but before that...you need to create a mysql database with your hosting provider for that domain you have. set that up with them first. then set up your account...actually here...this is the most intuitive lehman way of doing this...it's simple... http://esnips.com/doc/e44a5da5-a784-4de9-9fd0-8d772d83b89a/wordpress.swf gl...if you have any questions...feel free to pm
There are plenty of free dreamweaver tutorials on the net, and the program even comes with one. Its definitely a great program but practice is required to take full advantage of it./
I learned Dreamweaver by just using the help files - there are some good Dreamweaver lessons in there but I only used it for HTML and CSS. For creating a blog I would also use Wordpress as many people have already did the work for you i.e. templates and plugins. Good Luck
If you already own Dreamweaver you should look at: http://www.sawmac.com/missing/dwmx2004/ for a great book. You might also want to consider using a CMS like: www.Drupal.org
well if you really need to learn dreamweaver then i think the help files you get along with the software will help you a looot.... alteast, it help me a looot...
I would suggest going to webmonkey.com and learn to code using a text editor (ie. Homesite) if you're really serious. It makes you much better at troubleshooting, and when you get good your code will be twice as efficient as Dreamweaver code.
Dream Viewer is very easy to use with a little effort. I am also using dream viewer for designing web site. If you want to know about tutorial and book on that just go to your goggle and type dream viewer helop you will get a lot of option there and you can take the material from there which you want. for further query mail me at email:- er_jaisoni@hotmail.com url: www.soniinfotech.s5.com
