dreamhost subdomains

How come that it is not possible to go to your addon site through subdomain/domain.com or domain.com/subdomain at dreamhost ?

 

subdomain/domain.com does not work anywhere that I know of.

subdomain.domain.com works everywhere that I know of.

domain.com/directory works most but not all places depending on how the server is configged.

 

I meant subdomain.domain.com of course. But it does not work on dreamhost.

 

I was at the end of my year and have closed my account so I can not login to help you. I am sure it is some silly little something that you have not done the way their control panel requires.

Their support was always timely and mostly accurate. Have you asked them?
