    Hi Guys,
I'm looking to get a web hosting for Wordpress and narrowed down to Dreamhost.
But they have this Dreampress thing said to be optimized for Wordpress.
Technically I've no issues from installation to backend management but does this Dreampress offers anything good beyond the regular shared hosting they offer?
Should I go for shared hosting or Dreampress?
    Kindly suggest!
This is not the first time but I will be starting a blog like after 6 years so help me out.
    Highly appreciated in advance!!
    Thanks,
    Vikas

There's more than likely not much difference vs one is a hosting account and the other appears to just give you WordPress. The underlying infrastructure is probably identical. Many hosts claim to be "WordPress Optimized" however, any well maintained & properly tuned/configured infrastructure would technically be "WordPress Optimized". The majority of performance issues you'll run into with WordPress are high resource consumption due to poorly written themes & plugins as well as just flat out using too much junk on the site.
