I can access dreamhost without any problem.
You should post it under correct section http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=124

I've also got this problem. The dreamhost is down.

I think the DNS fine, I use OPENDNS (208.67.222.222), When I try to ping, the DNS translate the www.dreamhost.com to 208.97.187.204, but timeout.

I can not browse the website.

    Anybody know what's the problem?

    Dreamhost said:

"DreamHost is currently experiencing a fairly large network failure. The extent is unknown at this time however it seems that most of our central services (dreamhost.com, panel.dreamhost.com, webmail, etc…) as well as our customer sites and email are affected.

We have our network experts up and looking into the situation right now, hopefully a solution or at least more information will be forthcoming."

I'm not having any problems personally, but I know there have been a few power surges and blackouts around a few of DreamHost's primary servers. A power surge may have caused some of their DNS servers to go down.

It was just down again. To their credit though, they get it back up very quickly.

I saw flakiness today with my panel. Kept timing out every other operation. Very odd. CLearly this isn't done yet.
