I think it is possible to achieve the $745 level much earlier if you work hard and constantly produce content.

 

My biggest question would be, are you guys having fun doing this? I do $2 - $5 per day, but when I am truly having fun working on my sites it is no longer about how much I may or may not make. There are also times when I would rather just be drawing comics.

 

Having fun is really important as it helps keeping you motivated.

About those constant 20% per month, it's doable, but very hard, and believe me, you'll have to put some cash in to get some cash out.

(as a sidenote, exactly 1 year ago I've made around 8% of what I'm making today. )

Its fun and also needs small targets which you should plan and achieve slowly because you need to keep investing money at the time of making it.

 

Yes, I agree, it won't work for everyone. 20% per month would probably be too much for me, for example. It was just an illustration to show how people could raise their goals, and doing it by % increments seems a good way.

A 10% monthly increase would turn $100 in the starting month into $287 by month 12.

 

My dream is find a trusty Programmer who can churn out all my specs independently without my having to supervise 24 hours.. And a good team of dedicated content writers...

I didnt mean 10% would be adequate but its always good to make a good target ie 10%+ hike monthly, and in case the speed is better you are not in a loss right?

First compare your revenue with your offline day job and try to make to the same levels and then try to make extra income.

yep, the eCPM I am getting is pretty low nowadays. At this rate, God knows what will happen after 2-3 years.
