Well I just downloaded the trial version of dreamweaver, and it is hard.
When I add a text box or image I can not drag it to another location on the page or resize it. Could somebody help me with this. I'm sure it's something dumb I'm just not noticing, but it's driving me crazy.

If you click on the image, a properties box will open at the bottom of the screen, this gives loads of options for how you want it aligned, borders, padding etc.

You can resize it by dragging from the corners.

To drag and drop the table move your cursor off of the bottom or top of the table until it turns into a cross shape, you can then drag and drop.

To resize it you can grab a side or a corner and drag it to resize it. You can also use the properties box to specify a size.

    Hi !
Use layer option for this .You can insert images , text boxes etc. in the layer and can position the layer any where on the screen.

    Enjoy !

I tried that, dragging from corners and it does not work. Do you think there are limits to what you can do with the trial version?
    Thanks

    Thank you for your input.
I noticed your link to your article writing site, and I checked it out. I buy about 5-10 articles a week and I'm not satisfied with the articles I have been getting. I am going to give your site a try, everything looked good, so if there good I will purchase a lot of them thanks.

No I think that the trial should behave like the full version (for the basic functions at least).
I'd recommend that you try to get hold of a dreamweaver book (I learnt by using trial and error and 'dreamweavers for dummies'.

In my opinion it is worthwhile putting the effort in and learning dreamweaver, so hold on in there :)
