Drawing/Raffle Site?

What do you think about a site of this sort? How would I need to go about starting a site like this?

Well I guess you misunderstood me

I'm talking about a raffle site where their are daily/weekly/monthly drawings and a winner is chosen.

 

I looked into this a while back, full of red tape/laws, its gambling.
Walk away, dont spend any more time/effort on it unless you have very reliable advice.

You can definatly do this. Setup a non-profit organization, pay your self a 100% of the profit consulting fee If it is non-profit, then a raffle is legal.

 

If it's a non profit, though if you introduce some skill then the Raffle is legal.

 

Bunch of laws you have to worry about. Plus, as a visitor, I would be skeptical that it is rigged. You would need to gain the trust of the visitors, get a very talented programmer and designer to make the site flawless, and make sure you meet all regulatory guidelines. Not saying it is impossible (except for the law-- they might make this flat out illegal in which this would be impossible), but you should look into it much more closely and figure out exactly how much capital you will need to get going.
