Hi all, I am facing a problem of drastic keywords ranking fluctuation for my websites. Whenever site is get cached, ranking goes up, after 2 to 3 days it comes down without any reason and any update (down means from top 10 to out of 500) at least for 15 days site was out of 500. In this case I have updated meta tags and all. Today ranking is back but strange website is not re-cached and site is in top 10 again. why and how ??????????
Sound a little crazy to me..I really need to know whether this is an new site and are you doing link building..because this can be an big reason for it...Goggle like to jump sites around that are new to the net.
This is happening to 2 of my websites one is 3 months old and second is an year old. So not sure why Google penalizing my websites. I think there is no chance of site age factor here.......
This might not always be a penalty. There are thousands of servers on which the Google index is stored in multiple data centers in different locations. Now all of these servers can not update simultaneously. As and when the servers are updated, they start to reflect results in the SERPs. This is one of the reasons why there are significant movements in the SERPs.
As long as you do something on your link building surely it can affect your rankings. You may noticed that your site was down in ranking. Maybe the main reason for that is being penalized. Some sort of warnings made by Google. We must be careful in choosing backlinks to link at.
Create XML sitemap again & resubmit it in Webmaster tool Also, submit your site in some social bookmarking sites & collect some backlinks from the article submission. It will help you to get he backlinks from the high page ranked websites.
Could this be part of the Google dance? Although many are saying that there is no such thing as the dance, I believe there is. When the dance settles, your site will return to its original rank.
