One of my client websites has witnessed a drastic drop in traffic. It has dropped to just 1 visit. I had recently updated the meta tags for this site. And no development work was carried out on this site in recent times. The keywords are ranking well in SERPs so its baffling that the website has got just 1 visitor!!! What can be the reason? Please help....
Kind request, once you entered meta information, dont change it often. It will affect your traffic that what happened in your client site.

you are saying here that your website ranking well but i want know that which you are using keywords how many hits per day.means what is the search volume your website keywords because all over game SEO keywords game. so may be which you use don't have any hits...so you should check your keywords which you are using and change after that start off page work..then sure your website traffic will be up....

Google must be tuning up Caffeine or something is broken in SERP. The thing with Google is that you never know what they’re up to. I have been searching and cruising around many SEO forums and I am reading the same stuff over and over. There was one small website that claimed to make four figures daily, and now, they’re making zero in the last couple of weeks. I have noticed strange search results when searching popular terms.
Hey mate, I have just checked the search terms you have listed here and, generally, I do see two main problems. 1. They do rank well. The site is fine and it hasn't been blacklisted by the big G or anything. Rather, the problem is the ranking itself. You are ranking below "Google Maps" results and your site is not listed in there. For example, the search term "Orthodontist Melbourne Orlando" is ranking on page one, position one BUT below the Google Maps results. Now it might not matter with other search terms, but with a search term like "Orthodontist Melbourne Orlando" you will lose a lot of people to Google Maps results since they are looking for well, an orthodontist in Melbourne Orlando and they want that information quick. Unfortunately for you, Google Maps results deliver that information a lot quicker than your site does. Solution to that: get your site listed on Google Maps. 2. The search terms you have chosen do not attract heavy traffic. Google's external keyword tool doesn't even have any info on traffic volumes for those keywords since, frankly, the traffic volumes are quite low. Combine those two (low traffic and traffic loss to Google Maps results) and, well, you get to where you are at the moment. Cheers
I had a huge drop in traffic on www.italkcash.com and I have no idea why. Its slowly picking up again, but it doesnt make any sense on why, and google even gave me a PR 4 :O
What search terms are you trying to rank for? Where was the traffic coming from, previously? Oh and remember, PR doesn't have any correlation with traffic. Cheers
Recent days i was promoting a celebrity website with a great perception that it wil certainly drag a lot of traffic.At the intial stage i had i had plenty of traffic but a day came when i was dropped down.To overcomes this instaed of uploading contents on my blog started uploding unique contents on my site and within a month i got backlinks, PR and traffic too. I hope you got my point and a sloution for your obstacles!!!
