Dramatic Drop in EPN earnings - Ebay Partner Network

Over the last 4 days EPN earnings have drop to almost nothing. Still getting roughly the same click per day. Did EPN change something again and I missed it.

I know I need to move on to something else. Probably Amazon and Adsense.

    Let me know.

Hi belranjan, do you mind sharing how you are making money through epn? Through pay per click or pay per sale? thanks :)

The eBay Partner Network pays you per click as an affiliate. However, the amount you are paid per click depends entirely on the quality of traffic you send. If you have highly targeted traffic in a particular product niche it can pay above 0.30 cents USD per click.

EPN leaves a lot to imagination on their payout scheme...... make money with them but never really figured out how.

My EPC is constantly fluctuating. Some days it is $0.15-$0.20 and other days it is under $0.10. The biggest factor is how many buyers you had that day and how much you made Ebay in earnings, not how many clicks you had.

Yes, in fact it's pretty common to have a lot of clicks one day but an automatically lower EPC, simply because the clicks are not "quality" for whatever reason, like if they are not serious buyers. That stops people trying to game the system by waiting for a big EPC day and then clicking their own links, I guess! I have a pretty clear correlation between big sales and an increase in EPC, which then gradually (or sometimes suddenly!) declines over the next few days. On the whole, the system does SORT of work, not that that means I like it, but generally if I sell stuff, I make money. Unfortunately EPN is still the biggest earner for me, until further notice...

EPN fluctuates a TON for me personally. From what I can tell, from other forums, this is pretty much the norm. Sure, you will have weeks or even months that seem to have rhyme and reason, then BAM fall out or spike. I really wouldn't count on the affiliate program being around much longer, unless you are a HUGE referrer.
