Once in a while it is nice to obtain real benchmark information on something in SEO. A friend has created a new site http://www.bulldawgz.com/ and it has never been indexed by Google. This went on for 6 weeks because no one submitted it to Google.

Knowing that my site was about to be indexed, I placed her site's link on my home page that was then indexed by Google. Please note the time...

First appeared on Catanich and indexed on 5 Jan 2009 22:03:17 GMT.
Bulldawgz was first indexed by Google on 5 Jan 2009 23:27:55 GMT.
The "Drag-In Affect" submission time was just under 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Good job, your PR4 site obviously passed some juice to the new domain.
I have actually done this in 10 minutes.

Nice of you. I use wordpress' pinging capabilities when I build a new site and I usually get indexed in a few days.

It is to soon for Google to pass any "PR juice" to it. I think that it takes over 6 months before Google passes PR and I will remove the link before then.

This was just a test of how fast this concept really works and I have done it before but never recorded it for real.

Please don't take this the wrong way my freind. PR updates are made by Google much later than the effect has been made. I could rank #1 in Google tomorrow by getting an exact anchor text backlink as the title of my blog post from a PR4 site.
