    Hi all

I've redone some of my website and am looking for some constructive feedback. The site serves three main purposes:

    - To advertise my freelance work: I work full-time but I also do some multimedia development work as a part-time freelancer. I detail the servies offered on my site but I din't really rely on it to get work. I mainly get work through word-of-mouth.

    - A community site: I'm slowly filling it with tutorials, code, downloads, stories, etc, anything useful really that are available for free to the community. I've got some short stories and a couple of Flash games in the pipeline too.

    - A personal site: it has my CV, blog and an image gallery. This is mainly for friends.

The site is an amalgam of these three facets. I know it's far from perfect but I decided I need to start making a web presence for myself and get some good search engine rankings. I'd rather have an average site than not one at all.

The site is written in PHP and MySQL. Everything from the RSS feeds to the site map is dynamically generated. All URLs have been rewritten for search engine optimisation. In fact the whole site is served from a single page.

The site has only been live for about six weeks but it's getting some reasonable traffic and I'm already ranking No. 1 with MSN for my main keywords (I know that doesn't stand for much). I rank okay with Google and am only just getting on the map with Yahoo.

Here's the URL: http://www.drquincy.com/. Thanks in advance.

Normally, I would say a site like this is a little too much over kill, but in your situation, I think it is a good display of your abilities. You also have a very clean template and nice color scheme :)

Web design of top of the page is very bad. Change your top.

Page was quite slow to load .. probably the graphic effect.

For my tastes, it looks too gadgety .. but then I'm an old guy who just likes sites that load fast and are easy to read.

The only problem I have with your site is the Header (logo + buttons). While its a great display of your talents, the header just has too much going on.

I looked at your sub pages in the Commissions section. Those looked good.

I didn't read your Latest News or anything below it, simply because I had already developed some eye strain.
