Joel "Dr. AdSense" Comm, author of Google AdSenseSecrets, has created a tool to help you keep track of your AdSense statistics without having to login to Google's site. It's called the AdSense Buddy.

You can check stats by day, site, channel and many other options, as well as create visual representations of your earning, impressions, clicks and more with a special graphing system.

The AdSense Journal included helps you to keep track of changes to your site, and the icon on your taskbar allows you to see your stats at a glance.

Download your FREE AdSense Buddy now at http://www.adsensechat.com/adsensebuddy.zip

If you are going to be at Affiliate Summit, Joel is giving a two hour workshop on Multiplying Your Google AdSense Income. Spots are still available for this session, which is taking place Sunday, January 8

Has anyone actually tried this software yet? I kind of want to, but who knows what spyware lurks inside it?

I don't see the point. There's really nothing that I can't already get from the AdSense Firefox plugin... maybe some fancy graphs but I don't see the point in them.

Maybe I don't make enough to have to care...

And especially that you don't have to login over and over again. Very nice.

Firefox plugin for me too. I'm obsessive about my adsense, so it sort of helps me keep from logging in every 5 seconds. But now I find myself wanting to update it more often (shortest update time is 15 minutes...) even though the adsense page itself updates only about every hour...

I long ago gave up having an instant adsense view. I found it entirely counter-productive. I basically check my stats once a day now, and makes for much more productive work. :)

Similar experience here. I use Singer's Creations tool (Sysense) and found that the most-frequent earnings updates were distracting. Now it updates hourly, and I'm thinking about making it even more infrequent than that.

And this is how rumors start...

There is NO spyware in AdSense Buddy. It is a free application and that's all there is to it.

There are some bugs but I am working on it and will continually update the tool to make it useful for AdSense publishers.
