From the DP's Youngest Entrepreneurs thread :p

Updated rules from the Youngest Entrepreneurs thread.

    - State your age. Anything over 27 is old in the webmastering world :p

    - This is not a bragging session! Just because you have money, doesn't mean you're better than ANYONE else here on this board.

    - No BS'ing. Liars are stupid.

    - Monthly statistics are preferred over annual ones.

    - PROOF! It's not necessary at all, but feel free to post screen shots of your amazing web revenue or prepare to feel the wrath of flaming!

With that being said, HAVE FUN!

I dont want to feel young or old.
    The point is not that.
In that young member thread age limit was less than 25 and here age limit is greater than 27.
I am just asking that should We start another thread for "not so young and not so old member" :D:D

I'm 59 but I have been working on computers since 1966. Now am working to build a retirement income on the web. The first computer I programmed was an IBM 1401. Proably equivalent to an early Commodore. Ah...life goes by fast.

Now that is quite a long time. Wish I would've been older during the boom of the internet for so many reasons haha.

Many webmasters are starting off very young now. It isn't rare to find teenagers running multiple websites these days. You're probably older than most of the people on this board, but that doesn't actually make you old :p

Im a not so young and not so old member too rofl. :D

Wow is the teen part. I was not mature or dedicated enough to run a web business when I was a teen. I had sites, but they were of no monetary value.

On that note. I am up for my best month ever this month and I am going to make rouhgly $1000 profit after expenses. I just started for profit back in April this year and have been doing more learning then anything. Although I did have a web design business that was very mildly successful from 2003 to 2007, and did web design for a small company from 1999 to 2003. I look forward to making money on the web for the rest of my life!

Considering I am going to be old when I turn 27 next year I guess I don't have that much longer to make money... LOL :)

The problem here is that if all the young entrepreneurs show their revenues and how they earned it, then they will not have time to be young entrepreneurs anymore as they will quickly become old by trying to compete with their increased amounts of competitors. lol

In this one case I am sorry to say that I am in the same group as all the majority of "dotcoms". The ink is all red. First time in my life I have ever lost money doing anything for such a long period of time.

    Nice company though.

I'm 30. My earnings are growing quickly recently... I'm on pace for $10,000+ in profits this month. I didn't get started with internet marketing till about 2.5 years ago and with SEO just about 1 year ago. I now make over 95% of my earnings through SEO.

I am 34 (35 next month). Right now I bring in on average between 3 - 4k. 95% is developing websites (the whole deal - design, marketing, maintenance) and the rest is affiliate marketing etc. Now working on increasing income from the affiliate side.
