I dont know what people say about DP's Co-Op network nor do I care about what they say. All I know is that the Co-Op ad network is the best marketing tool I have ever seen on the Internet. Thanx to the network .....its really AWESOME!!!! :)

You gotta use the Co-op network to make some money :D :D

I have a reason and I would like to people know about it. If you think otherwise, then please post your comments on this thread. Dont be a coward and keep red repping people anonymously :D

There are lots of things on how you should use the weight to your benefit. It does take time to learn about this and a person who takes this seriously will definetely know about it after some time.

For me this is a best tool cos most importantly its free and with my experience it has given me far more better results than Adwords for my keywords.

    co-op = back-links = Search engines find you = visitors + PR = more weight.

Rince and repeat. Now you just have to get visitors to get weight, until Google stops smoking crack.

It's the worst thing thats ever happened to me... I lost all my ranking on google, only search terms i get traffic from is my domain name with the .com on the end. The domain name itself is on the last page... scrapers show before me. It's crippled the growth of my site, and I have no idea when its going to come back. The worst part of it is I only had the coop on for about a week.. its around that time when all the penalizing began, so I got no benefit from it at all. I have the worst luck huh? hell i could start a new domain and get more google traffic than my original one, but I'd lose all my other traffic so It's not worth it. I'm going to have to sit it out.

my advice is DONT take the risk, you will regret using it once you are penalized and never to be seen in the ranks again.

I'd choose: "waiting to see...", why don't you have that in the option? :D

Go you! Keep abusing the system and that's what you'll get.

Otherwise you'll get exactly Nintendo's recipe:

Apparently you haven't see this thread:
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=100855

Many of us who aren't abusing the system at all got the smackdown from Google.. I went from 14K indexed pages on one site down to 1! And it's been like that for over a month now, so I finally caved and removed the coop from that site. I'm hopeful that the lost pages will return to the index soon. :(

well, what's on these pages? only the coop links? You'd fall into the supplementary pages...

Anyway, I don't really care about your problems with that and if you believe it's the coop, that's your problem.

Sites not using the CO-OP have also been affected by the Google update. Shawn has already provided us with the no-follow option in Co-op links. People who still think CO-OP is bad can use the no-follow option as Google is fine with such links.

I agree...the ad network is great! For all the whiners, if you don't want to risk it then don't...I don't care if your sites do good!

Today I saw one of our competitors using Co-op and this site has recently gained page 1 ranking for a few highly competitive Keywords. The site is a travel related site and is an authority in their field. And it has a lot of Co-op links indexed as back links from other sites. So I'm also going to try Co-op and see the results :)
