How much is your monthly lease, and what location are you from?

    Just for fun. :)

Rent prices have sky rocketed in Sydney. They now have rental auctions because there is such a high demand from renter's and so little to choose from.

Do you live in a penthouse?

Well, I have never rented, but I used to own an apartment building. ;)

The small (one room!) studio apartments went for $360/month (utilities included).
The bigger (two rooms) apartments went for $450/month (utilities still included).

£320 per/month (roughly $650) for a one bedroom apartment in the UK - it's pretty damn nice too for that price :)

$550/month (American) for a one bedroom walk-in closet (I jest - the apartment, while small, isn't that small). Drug dealing neighbors and free electric/water included.

That's the going rate for townhomes in some of the nicer parts of Aurora, Illinois right about now. Of course from there it all goes uphill.
