I love poetry... I write poems when I have spare time...

 

There once was a man from nantucket,

Whose ¿____? was long long he could suck it.

 

My favorite poem is the Raven..
yet i dont think legally i can post it..
maybe thru "fair use"
but w/e

Thrice unleashed fury
for the lesson unlearned.
He dodges unwearily
across bridges unburned.

The eyes meet
and the swallows unheard.
His gaze beams through
a fog lit bison herd.

His foe upright
chest put forth.
South is conquered
aiming for the North.

Future is uncertain
for he and his foe.
Yet glistening with eagerness
the two will not know.

Let it be said
the iron is not thrust.
But the battle issues
is for certain a must.

Today is here
tomorrow is near.
Always is present
and never is fear.

My favourite poem is The Waste Land by T.S. Eliot, although I'd never dream of posting it on here for fear of breaking the Internet, it's so long!
